As a destination wedding photographer in the Riviera Maya, I work with couples who want photographs that feel honest — not performed. I document weddings in Cancún, Tulum, Isla Mujeres, and throughout the Mexican Caribbean, with a discreet approach that protects the energy of the day.

My Approach

Every wedding I photograph is different. Some happen barefoot on the beach at Blue Venado. Others take place in the gardens of Jardín del Mar, or in the lush grounds of Nizuc or Viceroy — venues where I work as an approved photographer. Some couples rent a private villa on Isla Mujeres and gather their closest people around them for something truly intimate. Whatever the setting, my job is the same: to be present without being intrusive, and to capture what actually happened.

Planning a wedding from far away takes trust. You are choosing someone you may never meet in person before your wedding day, in a place you may only know from photos. I understand that, and I take it seriously. Most of my couples book from the United States, Canada, and beyond — and what they tell me, again and again, is that they needed to feel like they could trust me before they could hire me.
