I’ve been photographing love stories in the Mexican Caribbean for 19 years now.

Over 800 weddings.

Cancún. Riviera Maya. Isla Mujeres. Tulum.

Sunrise at cenotes. Barefoot beach ceremonies. First looks by the water that still give me chills.

Couples trust me with a day they will never repeat, and I never take that lightly.

I live in Cancún. This is home.

I've worked in Isla Blanca, Costa Mujeres, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum.

I know where the sun sets.
I know when the beaches get quiet.
I know how to adjust quickly when the weather changes.

Picture this: 6:15 AM on a Cancún beach. I’m “meditating” on the sand (aka hiding in plain sight). Luis is about to drop to one knee. Andrea has NO idea what’s coming.

When she realized? Pure, unfiltered joy. The jumping. The giggling. The tears. Those raw, in-between moments that matter most.

This is why sunrise proposals in Cancún are simply unmatched—no crowds, dreamy light, and that impossible romance of being the only two people awake, watching the world wake up together 🌅
